Wet snow definitely has its advantages, though around here it tends to be short-lived. If it doesn't quickly warm up and turn to slush, it freezes at night into a sheet of ice. With the freezing option, the trees are still pretty, with the added deadly aspect of falling limbs, downed power lines, etc.
It's pretty slick in the shady areas already. No need for the friggin' schools to be closed, though. Perhaps tomorrow when everything is ice closings would make sense.
The last go 'round was on a weekend, which worked out really well. :)
