I felt peace, complete peace, when I saw this. Not sure why; perhaps because of recent travels [though not in a plane like that! ;) ], or perhaps because of the feeling of a time past and freedom it brings. Anyway...thank you.
Ah! Asking me to *define* it... how un-Orthodox of you. :)
Seriously, I won't go too far because I do not wish to loose the feeling. But: It feels old, from another time, which juxtaposes the reality that it was just few weeks ago at local park near the airport. It feels gritty, but not dirty. It feels somber, yet sanguine. It reminds me of an old war photo, which brings with it the memory of sacrifice, of perhaps a lauded relative who once was but now *is* only in a memory, a story handed down about a person I've never known yet can see clearly up there in the dusty sky.

May I ask what you feel?
