Winter...

An impromptu poem from one of my journal entries this week:

But, Oh winter,
I have had enough of you!
Of pasty, itchy skin,
Frozen toes and runny noses.
Now, even now, the days grow longer.
The sun will get you in the end!!

School Concert

Last night, Ana sang in her first school chorus concert. We’re a little uncertain as to whether or not it will be her last. She’s not to sure she likes the teacher, and, from what I’ve heard, I’m not sure I like him either. We’ll see how she feels about it in the fall.

iJane

My goddaughter, “iJane”, just after her first communion.

I was privileged to travel balmy LA and stay with her family, my friends, for four days. I must say, “I love LA”. At least what I saw of it. Hopefully I’ll make it back out there sometime soon!
