Transitions
It really wasn’t that long ago that they were littler people and in some ways, that time has passed like as though it were yesterday and in other ways it seems like a lifetime ago. So many externals in my life have changed since those pictures were taken.
School Concert
Last night, Ana sang in her first school chorus concert. We’re a little uncertain as to whether or not it will be her last. She’s not to sure she likes the teacher, and, from what I’ve heard, I’m not sure I like him either. We’ll see how she feels about it in the fall.
Family A tale of two kiddies...
This past Sunday, the family went to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor for a late afternoon stroll. Sometime since the last time we took a stroll downtown, a fountain of sorts has been installed along the promenade. This fountain is not a stately reflection pool with an oversized bird bath shooting up spray in the middle. It’s a series of holes in the pavement from which water shoots up unexpectedly at different times and heights…a fountain made for playing!
It was warm Sunday afternoon, but not terribly hot so I warned the kids that if they ran through the water, they might catch a bit of a chill, but it was up to them to take that risk. Ana immediately ran over and waited for the perfect time to run through and had a perfectly rip roaring good time. David stood by my side, holding my hand and watching.
iJane

My goddaughter, “iJane”, just after her first communion.
I was privileged to travel balmy LA and stay with her family, my friends, for four days. I must say, “I love LA”. At least what I saw of it. Hopefully I’ll make it back out there sometime soon!
