Home with a sick kid...
Sep 21, 2008 I’m home from church with Ana, who is unlucky enough to have bronchitis…a secondary infection resulting from a virus and/or allergies. It’s always the secondary infections that get ya’! She’s watching Tom & Jerry and swinging around the dust mop. Ana loves to clean. She didn’t get that gene from me.
Fortunately, Ana is feeling much better than a few days ago, but still tired enough to need to stay home and rest (albeit while obsessively dust mopping the area she can reach just in front of her position on the couch).
Anyway, I’m feeling somewhat out of sorts because of all this sitting around and nothing to do with my hands. I don’t have a crochet project to work on at the moment and I’m not sure what I even want to do. Maybe I have ADHD…I just don’t do the sitting still in front of the TV all day with a sick kid thing well. I’ve browsed the patterns on the Lion Brand site. Here’s one I’d like to make for a friend but I’m not sure the local yarn shop would have all the colors to make, or that I would have the money to spend anyway.
Meanwhile, there’s a sink full of dishes to be washed and I’m totally un-motivated. I’d rather drink another cup of coffee. I hate feeling out of sorts!!

Poor Ana !
hugs to her.
I also hate watching the TV if I don't have something to occupy my hands..... :-)
Prayers for Ana and you.
Thanks, y'all...she seems to be feeling better.
I found a quick cardigan to crochet up for her...but it ended up being to big. Oh well...
