My hands were poised over the keyboard to begin working on the children’s story idea I fleshed out on paper yesterday while Ana was sleeping.  From upstairs, a little voice cried out, “Mommy, the sun’s up!”

“Ana, walk down the stairs quietly please.  That’s all you need to do.”

Ana had been up off and on, calling my name since 5:00 AM, but was apparently waiting for the sun’s arrival to actually get out of bed.  And thus, another day of Mommy-hood begins in the Nee household!
