Breakfast


Before


0 most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse us from our sins. Master, pardon our transgressions. Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for thy Name’s sake.

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Lord, have mercy. (thrice)

If a priest is present the people say, “Father, bless!” and he says the blessing, otherwise anyone may say the blessing.

0 Christ our God, bless the food and drink of thy servants, for thou art holy, always, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

After


More honorable than the cherubim and more glorious beyond compare than the seraphim, thou who without stain bearest God the Word and art truly Theotokos: We magnify thee.

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

God is with us through his grace and love for mankind, always now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

We thank thee, 0 Christ our God, for thou hast satisfied us with thine earthly blessings. Deprive us not of thy Heavenly Kingdom, but as thou camest among thy disciples, 0 Savior, giving them peace, so come to us and save us!
